Infinita Ventures acquires, invests in, and operates businesses where leadership is the lever.
We find the opportunity, build the plan, bring the capital together, and run the business.
Our Thesis
There is a persistent gap in private markets. Capital is abundant, but most of it is passive. Operating talent is scarce, and most of it doesn't control capital.
The businesses that fall between are good companies with an execution problem, a succession problem, or a transformation ahead of them, and they are underserved by both.
How We Work
We identify businesses where hands-on operating leadership will change the trajectory, structure the transaction, and take direct responsibility for results. We partner with lenders and co-investors who want an operator at the wheel, not just a sponsor at the table.
We invest personally in every opportunity we lead.
Our model is built for concentration, not volume. We pursue a small number of opportunities we have high conviction in, and we commit fully to each one.
What We Look For
We invest in businesses built on human experience, trust, and real-world presence.
Consumer services, health & wellness, youth enrichment, and consumer technology that powers in-person experiences.
These are companies AI won't replace, but that technology and operating sophistication can make materially better.
The right fit:
$2–10M in revenue and minimum $500K in EBITDA
Proven customer demand and an execution gap, such as a founder-to-professional-management transition, an owner seeking succession or a partial exit, or a business that has outgrown its current operating model
A clear path to a materially larger business through stronger systems, technology, and leadership
US Northeast based operations
Capital Partners
Infinita partners with lenders, family offices, and co-investors who back operator-led transactions. We capitalize every opportunity around the specific business, with the right structure, the right partners, and the right alignment. Our principal invests personally in every deal we lead.
If you back operator-led opportunities in consumer services, youth enrichment, or consumer technology, we'd like to talk.
Leadership
Shirley Romig, Founder
Twenty-five years of building and scaling businesses across consumer, technology, and physical environments - from zero-to-one startups to enterprise-scale P&Ls combined with leading the AI transformation of a global venture investment firm and serving on NASDAQ boards, has produced a vantage point that is rare in an independent sponsor: one shaped equally by the rigor of large-scale operations, the instincts of a venture-backed founder, and a board director's discipline around capital allocation and governance.
Shirley has led P&Ls in some of the most demanding operating environments of the last two decades:
Led the deployment of over $100 million in pre-seed funding at Techstars in addition to formalizing the global founder network. Implemented operational rigor resulting in a 60% improvement in expense ratio to capital efficiency
Led the turnaround of a $500 million luxury fitness portfolio across 110+ clubs and 6,000 team members - engineered a record-setting marketing campaign resulting in double-digit revenue growth of the world's largest personal training business.
Led the most consequential post- pandemic operational recovery at Lyft - rebuilding driver supply and market confidence, becoming the first region to return to pre-COVID volumes with NYC reaching 1M rides per week.
Launched the first luxury off-price e-commerce business at Saks and restructured $160+ million in synergies through a complex post-merger integration.
